Bastahm returns - 07/01/2009

By Doctor Freda Peng

Our little friend Bastahm has come back. This time he is a very different person compared to the first time he was here. The following are some examples. He is taller, he has a much better state of mind, and he is livelier and has the ability to write beautifully. He can walk with a little bit of help, although he still has a ways to go, he has noticeably improved compared to six months ago. When Dr. Wu made his rounds this morning, he met with Bastahm's father who told him he has every confidence that the strength in Bastahm's legs had increased and was happy to see that he can also straighten his legs, and that in general his legs are more flexible than before. His learning ability has obviously progressed, and is working very hard to retain the things that are taught to him. We have every confidence that this treatment will allow Bastahm to behave, learn and play like any other healthy child. We carry out a detailed treatment program for him, with the hopes that he can be treated in such a short period, while at the same time, with the greatest efficacy. It is always are greatest joy to see the patient and their family, in this case, Bastahm's father, to realize that the successful treatment received will greatly improve their quality of life. It is the goal of the entire staff to ensure that this happens as we recognize that a new life truly begins after the successful treatments.
